I am trying to use ADM8828 to provide -5V rail.

-5V is output under open circuit, no load conditions.

But with any load connected the output voltage slumps, e.g. -0.5V across 270 Ohm.

symbols used in exemplary circuit of the datasheets shows use of polar capacitors, would it be okay if I use non polar capacitors? I'm trying to use non polar ceramic capacitors due to low noise and current leakage. Would it still work without affecting…

I would like to use the ADM8828 but I can't find information on the state of the output when the IC is in shutdown.

Is there any information available for this?

Now I am developing the PCB with ADM8829 part.

Does the ADM8829 NC pin have any internal connection?

I would like to connect this pin to GND and make the PCB apply as for ADM8828 as for ADM8829 part.
