I did not see a simulation model of the ADM4850, but I was curious if there is a model for the the individual receiver and transmitter in this transceiver?

Hi Akhil,
The ADM4850 has a basic level of HBM ESD protection at 2 kV.
The ADM4850 also has a basic level of CDM ESD protection at 1.5 kV.
What is your application? Is your application in a harsh EMC environment?
Regards,
Richard
ADM485 only has open-circuit failsafe. That means, in the specific case where there is nothing connected between A and B pins on the ADM485 (no termination resistor, no other nodes), then the receiver output will be high (failsafe state) instead of indeterminate…
Hi Jane,
The relevant specification in the datasheet for this is "Input Resistance (A, B)" and this is specified as a minimum of 96 kOhm. So the customer's measured data is well in excess of the minimum and within specifications.
A standard…
Hi,
Are you referring to ADM4850? If you don't need use the driver block, a logic low on "DE" pin would bring driver differential output to high impedance state regardless of what the state of "DI" pin is. Please see the Table below:…
Hello,
The ADM3078E was designed and optimized for 3.3V power supply, and has been characterized at 3.3V only.
The device should not be operated with a 5V power supply, with 5V power the transceiver won’t conform to all datasheet specifications. Specifications…
