Hi,
im planning to use ADG1236 to mux CAN bus signals at 1Mbps. Would it be a good choice?
Thanks!
Hi,
I downloaded simulation model for ADG1236 Analog switch from Analog website, if i try to import it to Cadence PSICE (Version 16.6) am able to generate .lib file but not able to generate .olb file can any one help me to get the .olb file for this…
Hi Peter,
Unfortunately, the ADG5419 is not available SPICE model. You may try to use the ADG1236's SPICE model as a substitute and start from there.
Please note that the ADG1236 switch parameter values are not identical to that of the ADG5419.
…Hi John,
I'm glad you found a solution. Just to note for ultra low charge injection you could also look at our ADG1208 family. The ADG1236 and ADG1219 are SPDT switches.
Regards,
David
Hello!
I've been putting together this small table for comparing mux specs for an ADC front end. I tried to use the formulas from Tutorial MT-088, but the numbers don't seem to add, specially settling time.
I'm considering Rload as an op amp input…
Hi,
This is just the simulation with ADG1236, unable to get accurate macromodel of ADG1436.
But in any case, there is no complete isolation. Leakage current varies with input voltage given. With as low as 500nA.

Hi Ronny,
It sounds like you really need a low capacitance switch. If you are using 1MOhm do you really need to use low Ron switches like the ADG14xx family? If not I would suggest you look at the ADG1204 and ADG1236 switches which have much lower capacitance…
