    Hi,

        The AD976 can accept voltage above 10V up to 25V. The conversion voltage range is at +/-10V. There is a protection diode right near the pads before the internal resistor.

  • Precision ADC Convertors

    I noticed when using the quick search list for Precision ADC's not all parts seem to show up.

    Some devices like the AD977 and AD976 which are clearly precison are not listed. Is this a mistake

    or are they being obsoleted.

  • AD976A's Transfer function

    I am unsure about the transfer characteristic of the AD976/AD976A shown in page
    10 of the datasheet.
    The analog input range is -10V-10V and reference voltage is 2.5V, the transfer
    function should be that shown (table 1 in attachment).
