• Mistakes in offset trim scheme?

    The data sheet of AD844 (Page 14) recommend to use 20Ohm resistor for offset trimming, which is unusually small resistor value for trimming resistor.

    I've tried it and didn't work.

     

    Instead, I have tried 20K ohm and it works.

      Op amps don't like capacitance on their outputs;  leads to instability/oscillation.

    The 1k is a heavy load also.  Remove both of them.

    If you want to limit the bandwidth, you can use an R-C lowpass somewhere else.
