AD8122
No the AD8122 and AD8123 are not pin compatible. Changes in the control mechanism and power supply layout as well as the addition of a selectable output buffer gain (+1/+2) in the AD8122 has resutled in a different pin layout than the AD8123 (see below…
Looking at the data sheets for the quiescent current, it would appear that, even when idle, the AD8122 is dissipating about 1W while the AD8120 dissipates between 0.4W and 1.2W.
They glow quite brightly under the FLIR.
Is this normal?

Hello
Im looking for some ICs for the KVM funtion
Now I would like to choose AD8147 to convert VGA singals to differential signal in twisted pairs,CAT5,
Then I choose AD8122 to decode the differential signal from CAT5,get R\G\B singals and H\V synchronization…
Hi Max,
Even though the AD8122 and AD8123 are intended for RGB video (3 wires), they can use one channel to compensate for losses due to long cable runs.
If you are using CVBS over a single RG-79 co-ax, use one of the 3 channels of the AD8122.

Hi, Jane.
We have an available circuit note that is very useful to your application. It is located here - http://www.analog.com/static/imported-files/circuit_notes/CN0275.pdf
Instead of AD8133, it uses AD8147 which has a higher -3dB bandwidth of 600MHz…

dears:
I used ad8147 to find problems in production.
Some boards, ad8147, are very hot. There are images at the beginning. Because of the temperature problem, the screen will be black.
Because it's probabilistic, we can't find the direction of the problem…
