FAQ
Hi
I have a question about the Transfer function of the AD734.
I have created the circuit shown in Figure 24 of the datasheet in LTspice and ran a simulation.
One of the results is shown in the attached image.
One of the results is as follows.
X1-X2 = 100mVp…
Hello,
I designed and fabricated a PCB that includes the multiplier chip AD734.
Please find attached the Altium schematic of the AD734 chip in pdf.
In the configuration I used, the output of the multiplier (W) is given by the following equation:
W = (U…
Original Question: Encrypted SPICE AD797 and AD734 by dhhsieh
Can someone please give me encrypted ADIsimPE files for the AD797 low noise op amp and the AD734 analog multiplier?
I have hit the 'too many nodes' limit.
Sincerely
Daniel H.

I am using AD734 as a RMS-to-DC Converter(Page no 16 of datasheet).
My circuit is same as that of given in datasheet. But IC is getting heated to 72 celsius (or 161 F) when I am giving 1 to 100 Hz sinewave sweep (T=20 sec) periodically at input.
Is it…

Hello Akira,
Apologies for the delay. The AD734 has the lowest total error over temperature of the 3 parts. The AD835 could also be considered. AD539 is a 2 quadrant multiplier, whereas AD834, AD734, and AD835 are 4 quadrant. They all have different signal…
