    I have few questions:

         Hi all,

         ADI is better than most companies for supporting older products.  I was a young man when designing the AD636 analog RMS-DC converter into a test system, and that IC is still available today.

    +/-15V times 12 mA is over a third of a watt.  Sounds like it should get hot.

    The AD734 and AD636 are rather old parts;  have you looked at some of the newer RMS-DC  parts such as the LTC1967?
