• AD5424: How to calculator R1 and R2 value?

    Hi,

    I designed a application use AD5424 and Op Amps UA741CDT with Vref =+5V, C1=1pF in below.

    I want the voltage of the Vout from 0V to -5V. How to calculator value R1 and R2 ? 

    P/s: I try to use R2 and R1=0 ohm but the Vout =1.9V and the Vout don't change…

  • Spikes on output of AD5424

    I am using your AD5424 DAC as a gain control between two OpAmps.  When I manually step the gain it works very well, but when I slew the DAC, incrementing one bit every 10uS, spikes appear on the output of the DAC when multiple bits are changing state.

    I have got a customer who wants to replace an AD7524 by an AD5424. However, in his application, the AD7524 was only used in WRITE mode and /CS was connected to GND. It seems such a functioning is impossible with the AD5424.

    There is an alternative circuit, the voltage switching mode, not using negative voltages. Although it is an existing option, we cannot garantee a good performance of the part as there is no characterization data for this configuration.
