• AD5121 / AD5141 Digital Potentiometer

I want to use 100K Digital Potentiometer
    Looking at the data sheet for AD5121 / AD5141, 10k ohms / 100k ohms
    AD5121: 10K ohm
AD5141: 100K ohm Is it okay to think this way?
  • AD5121: Maximum Bandwidth

How do I calculate the maximum bandwidth?

As a first order model, the digiPOT performs as a basic RC filter. The
capacitance is added by the W pin capacitance and the resistance should be
calculated from the parallel between RAW and  RWB. The…

  • AD5121: VDD and VLOGIC

How different can Vdd and Vlogic be?

Vdd is used as a reference signal for ESD protection. No other supply voltage
can be higher than VDD so Vlogic maximum voltage is limited to Vdd.

  • AD5121: Maximum Current Density

What does maximum current density mean?

The maximum current density is the maximum current allowed through the digipot.
In potentiometer mode, this isn’t an issue as the resistor is quite high and
this limits the current. The specification…

  • AD5141_datasheet

Please let me know  about  "Figure 19. Rheostat Mode Temperature Coefficient ((ΔRWB/RWB)/ΔT × 106 ) vs. Code " described on p.15 of the datasheet.

If you look at the datasheet of AD5121, the horizontal axis of the above items…

  • How to read back the contents of the RDAC registers of ADI5121/5141 by IIC bus ?

    I can't   understand   IIC   address 。

    I  use AD5121.

I don't know the meaning of the above two pictures

    Here's what I wrote.

  • RE: How to read back the contents of the RDAC registers of ADI5121/5141 by SPI bus ?

    Hi,

Please use the below command to readback from the device:

AD5121/AD5141 is always the Slave in SPI transaction. The master device always need to provide the clock for the Data readback.

  • Is there a table on which SPI DigiPOT is compatible with which other ones?

    Hi,

Is there a table on which SPI DigiPOT is compatible with which other ones in order to put them into the same daisy chain?

In perticular, I am using some AD5292 and would like to add some other DigiPOTs to the same SPI bus.

    The AD5121/AD5141 or AD5122…

  • RE: AD5272 - Circuit problem

    Hi,

The AD5272 is a rheostat device (2 terminals, A and W) if you are looking a digipot with three terminals, I would suggest you to check the AD5121/AD5141. You would need a third terminal if you want to do a voltage divider configuration for the digipot…

  • RE: AD5110 Addressing Issue

    Hi Madelph,

Two options that you could consider:

    1. Use a multiplexer for the SDA line. The ADG732 is a 32 channel multiplexer. When a part is not being addressed, the pull-up resistor on each SDA line will keep it high.

    2. Consider using SPI protocol…
