FAQ
Hello,
I connected the DAC as follows and trying to work with all four channels. I'm working on the speed of 10MHz. The data have to be sent each 100us.
First, only the first channel outputs data. If I send the data to all four channels at once…
Hi Cat,
As you commented, the output buffers that the MDACs require will absorb the limited space in the board, so they might not be an option for this case.
Have you checked out the nanoDACs’ portfolio? They are small print, single supply voltage output…

nanoDACs are a portfolio of products which combine small package, low power and low cost digital to analog conversion.
nanoDACs are monotonic DACs which can be powered off a single 3V or 5V supply and are available in the industries smallest packages…
It must be stressed that depending on the application performance requirements, all nanoDACs can be used in both open and closed loop systems.
In an open loop application the DAC drives the load (a valve or an actuator, for example) directly while in…
Around 256K data is stored as a bunch in memory and we need to convert this digital data to analog at once by applying it to AD5542A dac ic. As chip select need to go low to high after each 16 bit data to latch it to dac.
Dear AD engineers,
Could I ask if +5V/-5V is supported for AD5542A in bipolar mode? It is specified in datasheet everywhere that a 2.5V reference should be used, such as in page 8: Pin REF Connect this pin to an external 2.5 V reference.
Thanks a lot…
