EVAL-AD7124-4ASDZ detected as AD579x board in ACE – EEPROM ID issue

On windows 10 using ACE Evaluation 1.30.3369.1491 (x64) and AD7124 Eval + Software V1.2.8

Hi,

The AD7124 boards are not yet support by ACE as of the moment but we are currently working on releasing the ACE plugin software for the EVAL-AD7124-4ASDZ boards. 

I moved this thread to the System Demonstration Platform (SDP) Support - EngineerZone forum. Someone there should be able to assist you further.

Thank you for your response, this would explain the ACE behaviour but the specific AD7124 Eval+ software that can be downloaded with it also does not detect the ADC even though the SDP is detected on the operating system. I appreciate any help I can receive thank you.

Latest Rev V1.4.2.17 does not detect any supported board.

I have purchased a product that can not be used with the software provided can you please advise

Can you provide the revision version of your EVAL-AD7124-4ASDZ?

When using EVAL-AD7124-4ASDZ for EVAL+ software, the EVAL-SDP-CB1Z is required. The EVAL-SDP-CK1Z will not work for AD7124 EVAL+.

Thank you for your information on EVAL-SDP-CK1Z as this may have been an issue in the future. The issue has now been resolved, a faulty USB cable was at fault as a new cable rectified the problem.
