The SDP-S cannot connect to the EV-RADAR-MMIC2

Category: Hardware
Product Number: EVAL-SDP-CS1Z

We have created an evaluation board based on the EVAL-RADAR-MMIC and are using it to connect to the SDP-S via a 120-pin connector. However, the evaluation board is not being recognized, which seems to be an issue with the EPROM. How can I program the EPROM?Can you provide the EPROM file?

    Thank you very much.

  • Hi

You can use the below steps to recover the EEPROM contents.

Extract the EVAL-RADAR-MMIC.zip file and use the EVAL-RADAR-MMIC.dat file to program the EEPROM ID.

    1. Connect the SDP-S interface board to the Eval board and connect to the host machine via a USB cable.
    2. Open the ACE Software
    3. Click Toolà EEPROM Recovery Tool from the side panel (Figure 1)
    4. Click Connect (Figure 1)
    5. Select the .dat file with the correct hardware address
    6. Select Connector Type as Arduino
    7. Define correct I2C address (It can be between 0x50 – 0x57) 0x52 for EVAL-RADAR-MMIC
    8. Click the Write EEPROM button
    9. If the Write Complete pop-up appears, EEPROM values are updated.
    10. Click Disconnect
    11. Reset the SDP-S board
