adrv9002 Rx Phase Offset Correction

Category: Software
Product Number: ADRV9002
Software Version: V21

How can I make use of the Phase Offset Correction in the Receive chain?

There are images that show up the fft spectrum that I assume are due to phase imbalance.
I would like to try and make use of the Phase Offset Correction block in the adrv9002.

I see some API commands in adrv9001_nvs_regmap_rx.h.
These were the only ones that I could find.
Are these what I should be using?

Is there some guidance you can provide regarding how to use these, and what values correspond to the phase correction that is being applied?

Thanks for the help

  • As stated in the user guide, the phase offset correction is meant to be controlled by API, but currently it is controlled by the device, not by user through API at the moment. Typically images appearing at the output of ADRV9002 is usually caused by some sort of imbalance in I and Q data paths, and quadrature error correction is intended to improve the image rejection performance, which is something you can play with. Could you be more specific abotu test conditions/environments you observe images?

  • I have similar question regarding phase offset correction.

I'm planning to use ADRV9002 for 32ch. MIMO receiver, where I need configure the phase offset for each channel separately. Please tell me know how I can do it and how I can access to this future.
