I'm using the AD9371 and I'm making large (>100MHz) changes to the LO frequency. I see in UG-992, under "RF PLL FREQUENCY CHANGE PROCEDURE" that I should "rerun the initialization calibrations" after making such a step change. But in the TES software, when I log the API commands, I see that it does not do that. It skips re-running initialization. Is there a reason for omitting the rerun of the init cals? (i.e. tracking cal will make up the difference eventually?). Or should I make sure to do a rerun of init in my system when I make large RF PLL changes?
Thanks,
- Jon
