Hello there,
AD9082 user guide 1578 recommends use of Buck ADP5056 and ADP7158, ADP1765 LDOs. I'm looking for possible alternative for AD9082 power supply.

Hello there,

Could you tell us the reason why you are looking for alternatives?
The card i'm working on has size constraints.
If the size matters, the ADP5056 based solution would be a better option. And you may have to keep those LDOs (ADP7158, ADP1765) for better noise performance.
AD9082-FMCA EVB uses two micro modules of LTM4616 and LTM4644, while FMCB EVB uses ADP5056. Please take a look at the schematics of the FMCB EVB as a starting point (https://www.analog.com/media/en/technical-documentation/eval-board-schematic/eval-ad9988-ad9986-schematic.pdf), There are large current sensing resistors for 1V inputs to LDOs in FMCB EVB, which you can remove, and overall area of ADP5056 based solution woudl be rather small.

Hope this helps and let us know if you need further clarificaiton.
thank you so much !
