Noise Floor of ADRV9026

I believe this is expected. The noise figure of the total line up is ~4dB irrespective of the gain of the ADRV RX chain. Now, depending on the gain of the ADRV RX chain, the noise power at the ADRV RX out increases dB to dB.

For eg:

-174+48+4--> -122dBm/Hz (ADRV at 18dB gain)

-174+35+4--> -135dBm/Hz (ADRV at 5dB gain)

-174+30+4-->-144dBm/Hz (ADRV at 0dB gain)

-174+30-12+4-->-152dBm/Hz (ADRV at -12dB gain)

Due to the measurement dynamic range, we may not be able to measure -152dBm/Hz though at the ADRV low gain case.

30dB is the gain of your up down converter that you mentioned above.

Yes. However as per the results i mentioned, when i change the RX gain of the transceiver from -12 to 0 the noise floor only increases by 6dB (from -91dBFS to -85 dBFS). Can you explain this issue? Thank you so much.
