TX attenuation table mapping

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: ADRV9029

According to user guide i was able o understand the minimum , maximum and step size of TX attenuation table from the default attenuation  table provided long with software package .

Need to understand how the attenuation provided in mdB will be mapped to Tx Atten Idx in the attenuation table.

Thread Notes

Parents
  • The Tx attenuation step Size is 0.05dB (50mdB). Unlike Rx path where the user provides Gain Index and there by the attenuation gets set, user would provide Tx attenuation and the respective gain index would be set which the user need not know. See below for understanding the Gain Index from the set Attenuation value. If the user sets 0dB, Gain index of 0 would be set.
