rf input saturate, 204b output data signed bit flipped

Question

Hi,, I have a question, when the rf input large enough to saturate rx channel, the ideal rx data from 204b is also saturated to 32767(I use 16bit-2scomplement), but actually the signed bit of rx data from 204b flipped, positive data changed to a negative value, how can I solve this problem, because I hope the rx data under saturated condition saturated to its max value instead of changing its own signed bit?

The ADC is continuous time &Sigma;-&Delta; ADC. This ADCs exhibit a soft overload when the input is saturated unlike the pipeline ADCs. Due to this behavior, it is expected that saturated input is read as random negative value instead of its max value.)
