Question

Hi, 
 I met a problem in ADISimRF when evaluating RF budget, the output power of a given stage is not equal to the input power plus its gain... When I increase the P1dBout of this given stage then output power is the correct one: 
 
 Buy why?

I think it is because of low Backoff at issued blocks. Recalculate it for lower input power, it should be correct. You can not expect constant gain up to 1dB compression, especially for GaN PA stage. GaN HEMTs has got significant knee characteristic near its compression.)
