External gain control is configured as discussed in UG and this article: Implement an External LNA in TES
On the Gain Control Tab the Min Gain Index does not allow a setting below 187. I selected 19000 mdB, and the article says it should allow settings 19*2 = 38 steps below the limit of 187 (in this case 149). However, the page will not allow the index to be set below 187.
Subsequently the gain table that is generated when Program is selected never sets the extControl field
