I would like to learn more about the parameter hboverloadpowermode. According to the documentation, when it is set to 1, HB calculates the instantaneous power of the digital data. When it is set to 0, it is stated that HB selects the maximum value of the I and Q samples.
Could you please confirm whether this interpretation is correct? If so, I would like to clarify what is meant by the “maximum value” in this context. Specifically, does HB select the maximum based on the magnitude of the I/Q samples , or based on the algebraic (absolute) value of the individual I and Q components?
