Calibration Failure If the Rx1 Input Power is High(-30dBm)

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADRV9002

Hi,

We've noticed that calibration is failing if the input power on Rx1 port is about -30dBm. We use LTE10 FDD profile with slightly modified FIR coeffs and datapath NCO enabled. Is there any limitation on input power level during boot? Any thoughts?

Thanks

  • Hi inc,

Yes, there is a limitation - there should be no signal present at the Rx port during the calibration stage.

We don't have exact numbers for the signal level at which this stops being an issue since it's likely to vary with the type of input signal and offset, so the guidance is that the circuits connected to the Rx port should be powered down or disconnected, and ideally (though this is not strictly required) terminated to 50 Ohms single-ended.

    Kind Regards,
    Michał
