What is the meaning of RF Channel Bandwidth in ADRV9002 TES menu?

What is the RF Channel Bandwidth in the picture below?

Please explain.

    This is the overall bandwidth of the signals that you want to Transmit or Receive. For more details and some better understanding have a look at the User guide section RECEIVER/OBSERVATION RECEIVER SIGNAL CHAIN here

    This chapter will talk about the Receive Channel and its capabilities in receiving different BW signals. In the TES as you have shown is where you would configure the different BW that you require for each RF channel. in this case you have set the bandwidth to be 75kHz for the Tx and Rx on channel 1.

    It seems to be the DFE side in my prediction, and the total bandwidth is 75*2=150KHz, is it correct?

  • Hi Justin,

    The bandwidth is set using the DFE correct. In the AFE we take in a very wide BW with the ADCs. Then we digitally filter the signal to remove the unwanted blockers and just look at the BW required. The total BW is what you set in the menu, that will be the BW for that Channel. So each channel will have its own BW, it is not a combination of the two channels.
