ad9371 ORX noise raised at frequency edges

Thread Summary

The user is experiencing raised noise at the frequency edges of the ORx signal on the AD9371 when using a 245.76 MHz IQ rate and 200 MHz bandwidth. The final answer suggests increasing the oversampling ratio by adjusting the decimation rates of the Half Band and FIR filters to push the noise further and achieve a flatter noise floor. The user also tried bypassing the RFIR and increasing the ORx gain, but the noise shape remained unchanged. The user is advised to use the latest filter wizard to generate profiles and ensure the ORx path is enabled correctly.

But the received orx signal has raised noise at frequency edge.

if i turn off the signal, the noise looks not flat, check the red curve in following figure.

I try some dec5 filter coefs, no big change.

thanks
