ADL5519: output of OUTP

Question I am using the EVB of ADL5519. I did some tests with the EVB. The results show that OUTA and OUTB work well, but OUTP seems not. From the datasheet, OUTP should be equal to OUTA-OUTB+VLVL. Could you please advise what might be wrong? Answer You are correct about the formula. The dependency seen by the customer is caused by the fact LVL pin is floating. I suggest a known voltage be applied from an external supply, or, install a 0 ohm resistor at R7 to apply a voltage from VREF to the VLVL pin. VREF = 1.15 V. See the attached data.

ADL5519 for pulse measurement

Question I am in the process of finalising an RF detector using the ADL5519 development board and I would appreciate some advice as I am unable to detect RF pulses shorter than 1us. As the datasheet details a pulse response of 6ns I was expecting the ADL519 to be able to respond to these pulses, but it may be the case of the development board limiting the pulse response hence the question. It is my intention to dispense with the development board after the design has been finalised but I will not be able to progress to this stage until I can show that the final device will see these narrow pulses. Answer CLPA and CLPB have a 1000 pF capacitor installed by default. These capacitors need to be removed for pulse measurement operation.
