How to control the registers of an ADRF6602 (PLL+Mixer)?

Question

I am working on a project that requires control/access to the shift registers of ADRF6602, which is a combination of PLL and Mixer. 
 There is a GUI for controlling the given evaluation board named, "ADRF6x0x_customer_6p1p0". I have checked for its source code online (on GITHUB), but it is not an open source software. 
 The board is controlled through the USB.

 The ADRF6602 can be controlled via the downloadable software on the product page. As you mentioned, the latest file is:
