Best Pairings of Mod+DAC and Demod+ADC

Are there recommended pairings of ADI modulators and DACs and demodulators and ADCs to get the best performance?  I had called in to tech support and they had recommended the ADL5375 and ADL5380.  Circuit Notes CN0021 and CN0062 recommend AD9783/AD9788 DACs (for zero-IF) and AD9262/AD9267 for ADCs, but are these currently the best choices?

This is too broad a question and the application needs to be addressed.

The circuit notes show examples of specific combinations of an ADC and ADL5380. But there his a significant portfolio of converters (sigma delta or pipelined) with which the demod can work with. 16 bit/ 14 bit/12 bit etc...The AD9267 ADC is super high performance converter which is meant for demanding infrastructure applications.  It may not be needed for other applications. The demod family can mate well well almost the broad range of ADC components that are avialble.

    Application info:

    modulation - QPSK to 64QAM

    BW 5 to 20 MHz

    FDD

    PA out +30 dBm

    freq 700 to 4000 MHz

ADL5375 would be best choice to cover whole operating frequency(700~4000MHz). It support wide baseband frequency response(0.1dB BW ; 95MHz, 1dB BW :400MHz, 3dB BW : >700MHz) as like ADL537X modulators. It will match well and is optimized to interface seamlessly with AD9122,AD9788 16bit TXDAC. Imperfection at modulator could be corrected by these DAC. Refer attached file for this correction.
