ADRF6850 as a Zero-IF receiver?

Question

Dear ADI engineers, 
 Can the ADRF6850 be used without any problems if I set the baseband frequency to be exactly zero (i.e., as a ZIF receiver like, say, the MAX3580)? I see that the datasheet is spec'ed with baseband at 20MHz, so I just want to be sure. Thanks in advance for the assistance!

Yes, definitely. In order to characterize quadrature accuracy, gain, noise figure and IP3 of an IQ demodulator, you have to bring ac signals out on the baseband outputs even though under normal operation, the modulated signal and the LO are at the same frequency, resulting in a spectral output at baseband that is centered at 0 Hz.)
