ADL5330 or AD8367

Hi, Joel;

I saw ADI has a new VGA named ADL5330, can we use this as a replacement for AD8367? For your reference, I post a schematic of our system.

THX!

    Hi Donald,

    The AD8367 is different than the ADL5330; the attenuator to achieve the VGA function is placed at different locations along the signal chain and therefore the noise and dynamic range characteristics are different across the gain ranges of the two parts.  You will need to decide if each are suitable to your application or not.

    Thanks,

    Joel

    If you are looking for replacements for AD8367, also take a look at AD8368.
