I would like to use AD607 as a detector for BPSK on LF. (30-120kHz).
Do you have an example of a ICs combination to make the Costas Loop necessary?
Many Thanks

The AD607 is a 3 V low power receiver IF subsystem for operation at input frequencies as high as 500 MHz and IFs from 400 kHz to 12 MHz. It consists of...

The attached article was written by one of our apps engineers many years ago. AD607 is not mentioned for editorial reasons but my understanding is that it was written with this device in mind.
One other thing to note. The AD607’s internal VCO won’t work in the 30-120 kHz range – it bottoms out just below 455 kHz.
Hi Enash,
thank you for the article. It seems to be interesting.
Actually my project works at 40kHz but in FSK, you have right about the minimun 400kHz IF for VCO. Infact, in my project, the first mixer stage converts the 40kHz to 455kHz with a carrier of 415kHz.
I have tried to operate in BPSK but the detector doesn't work. I'm sure to do some mistakes.(..not only in english!) I'm looking some projects in BPSK with AD607 even with other frequences.
Thank you again.
Best regards.
