ADL5611 Inrush current ?

I'm using ADL5611 powered by dropping resistor, the power is 8 Vdc and dropping resistor is 32 Ohm,  to obtain 5Vdc at pin 3 of  ADL5611 at 94mA of absorption. The ADL5611 device does not start well. To pin 3 (RF out) the voltage is 3.1 Vdc and the device absorbing 153mA, and remains in this state. The voltage of 8Vdc is generated by a linear voltage regulator that limits output start-up current at 1 A. The ADL5611 how much current is required to turn on properly?

  • This inrush current should be included in the datasheet. We manage to take some data during the initial power on and the voltage ramp is using a 5V regulator circuitry. During power on, at around 3.5V, there is a threshold behavior and it's clearly seen in the kink. The horizontal axis is in seconds. Meanwhile, the regulator current is monitored to show a spike of 600mA. This inrush current will render some LT(basically ADI) regulators useless.
