RF Log Detector

Hello,

I am looking for a RF Detector, which would detect 30 to 50watts of RF Power, with a frequency range of 700MHz to 2.5GHz. can anyone please suggest me some detectors?

  • You will need to pad down that power level to around 10 mW before applying it to a typical integrated RF Detector. If you are using a directional coupler to sniff some of the power, then the coupling factor of the coupler (usually 10-20 dB) will give you a good start.  As regards which detector to use, take a look at ADL5903 (www.analog.com/adl5903)  or ADL5501 (www.analog.com/ADL5501). . They have 35 and 30 dB of detection range resppectively  which is much more than what you need I think.
