ADF4360-7 power down mode

Hi All,

Today, one customer asked me about behavior of ADF4360-7 power down mode.

Then, I have following questions about it.


When get CE to low and power down the device,

  1. what should be expected as the state of MUXOUT(digital lock detect mode) pin?
  2. they reported that MUXOUT will be low for just a moment and then high afterward.
    Is it correct behavior of the device? If it is not, what should they do for solving this behavior?

    Hello Taiki,

    I checked the function of MUXOUT in the lab using one of the ADF410X ( MUXOUT functionality for the ADF4360-X family is similar)
    See attached for MUXOUT measurement result, ....testing MUXOUT at T8 , but removing all other components connected to T8 ….this is important as MUXOUT is a very weak driver, …so essentially the MUXOUT pin is connected to just a 100ohmn series resistor with the other end to the testpoint (t8). The scope is set for high impedance input.
