There are many Hittite part numbering with suffix "A" for example HMC849ALP4CE and also w/o suffix "A" that is HMC849LP4CE.
I noticed the spec. is slightly different.
May I know HMC849ALP4CE is it the latest product than HMC849LP4CE ?
Long term support will be HMC849ALP4CE or HMC849LP4CE ?

Some of the HMC products are translated into a new process due to process discontinuation. A Product Change Notice (PCN) is issued to notify the customers about the final purchase date and replacement product of the product to be discontinued. The detailed information about discontinued products (datasheets, replacement products, announce and final purchase dates) can be found on the product archive page of Hittite web site. The HMC products that have "A" suffix on the part number are the translated versions of related HMC products without "A" suffix on the part number. Similarly the HMC products that have "B" suffix on the part number are the translated versions of related HMC products with "A" suffix on the part number.
The replacement products are in the same package/pin outs and support the same (or better) operating conditions and electrical specifications as the discontinued products, targeted as a drop in replacement.
The HMC849ALP4CE is replacement product of the HMC849LP4CE. The details are below. The HMC849LP4CE is now discontinued and not available. We encourage you to replace the HMC849LP4CE with the HMC849ALP4CE in your new designs.
