Request the datasheet of HMC346ALC3B

Hello,

My customer used HMC346 with Die type, but this device will be EOL and Last Time Buy date of this device is Dec-16.

And your recommended replacement is HMC346ALC3B with Package type.

Actually I receive your comments that you don't support Die type device any more.

So they should re-design their system for using HMC346ALC3B with Package type.

For this reason, they need more detailed information about Outline Drawing, Pin Map and etc

And I assume that these information will be in the datasheet.

So I need this datasheet , but I can't find the datasheet of this device in your web site.

Would you provide the datasheet of HMC346ALC3B ?

Regards,

Se-woong

  • Hi,

The HMC346A is still in design phase and its general availability is planned for the end of year 2016 if the design yield good results. Therefore the datasheet is not available.

The replacement part will be offered in both die form and packaged forms. The customer will be able to use replacement part in die form for their convenience. The HMC346A will support same assembly diagram and functionality as HMC346. Still the customer may need to modify their application design since it is possible there will be some change in the electrical characteristics (control voltages mainly).

    Best.

  • When is the release of the HMC4345AMS8G & E. Will this version have a tighter grouping of attenuation and phase vs control voltage. I currently use the hmc346c8 and we need to pre-screen each device for a 6 channel 3x user per channel amplifier. There is a large variation of attenuation. In some cases -1.8v may yield -15dB and from the same lot another device may require 2.1v or greater for the same attenuation. Also from device to device the dB/V or slope can be some what wide. The same problem with the control voltage is the phase. Since the hmc 346is at an end of life I need a replacement.
