Passive double balanced mixer RF/LO port swap avalable?

Hi,all

Our customer will plan to replace the HMC141 to other mixer.

The specification is nearly equal, but it is necessary to change places RF/LO port layout on the PCB.

Passive double balanced mixer RF/LO port is swap available ?

As a result, it will be any characteristic degradation?

from HMC141 to HMC554 or HMC773,HMC773A,

LO drive signal to RF port,

RF input signal to LO port.

Please advice the recommended conditions to me.

LO drive level, RF input level ,etc.

    Swapping the RF and LO port is not a recommended configuration and we do not guarantee the performance if used in this configuration. The signal at the LO port (now the RFIN signal as described in the application) of the mixer will have to be +13dBm for the HMC554 and HMC773 for the mixer to operate optimally.

    If the LO signal is driven from the RF port use the the RF to IF isolation spec from the datasheet to calculate the LO leakage at the IF port. If the RF signal is driven from the LO port use the LO to IF isolation  spec from the datasheet to calculate the RF leakage at the IF port. These isolation specs are specified when the level at the LO port is +13dBm. If a different level is used at the LO port the isolation (RF to IF and LO to IF) might be different.
