My project needs an LNA in the 1-2GHz range, so I chose the ADL5521.
When I looked at the datasheet of the ADL5521, I found that there was a problem of impedance matching over a wide frequency range. The typical circuit of datasheet recommends choosing different inductance L1, capacitance C1 to achieve source impedance matching around different frequencies (see attached figure and schedule).
So for the ADL5521, I want to know what matching circuits are used to match the input impedance across a wide range of 1-2GHz.
Are you using our eval board for your project or this ADL5521 is on your board?
- If this is on our eval board, which have only one LC section, and since one LC section is narrowband in nature it is not feasible to match it over 1-2GHz.
