Low frequency operation - Pulse measurement

Category: Hardware
Product Number: AD8310

Hello.

We are evaluating the AD8310 detector in a low frequency operation (nearly DC-5MHz).
The DC block, BFIN and OFLT capacitors are chosen based on AN-691. More precisely:
1. DC-block - 47uF.
2. BFIN = 5.6nF
3. OFLT = 1uF.
4. The detector is driven differentially with appropriate matching to 100ohm diff.

Our goal is to detect a short pulses with different input power.

We observe that VOUT may take long to recover to a baseline (<0.4V) -> ~10-30mS using this configuration
Below there is a picture that shows a VOUT response with a large power sweep on the input (frequency nearly DC -> it seems its frequency dependent).

Is it something expected ? Is it due to the offset compensation loop?
What could you suggest us?

Thank you in advance.
