I am looking for RF mixer that will operate at 2.4GHz and 5.6GHz. LTC5576 specifies 3GHz - 8GHz frequency range for RF input signal.
Will it operate at 2.4 GHz with reduces performance and which parameters will be compromised?
Hi Oleh,
Thanks for looking at ADI for this mixer application.
Since the LTC5576 is only specified for 3GHz, we wouldn't have any test data for operating it lower than this.
Looking at the plot on page 6 for Conversion Gain and OIP3, it looks like both of these would be poor if you try to use this at 2.4GHz.
Another mixer to look at is the LTC5562 as this covers IF frequencies for ISM apps and up to 7GHz:

Can you note what Topcon location this is since ADI has some of the locations covered with field sales and FAEs.
Best Regards,
Chris
Thank you, Chris. The location is Livermore, CA. If you can connect with filed sales and FAEs - this will help.
