ADF4368 input frequency range when the REFERENCE DOUBLER is enabled

Category: Hardware
Product Number: ADF4368

Hello

According to the ADF4368 datasheet, the reference input frequency range is rated for 10 to 250 MHz when the Reference Doubler is enabled. However, while using the ACE software in Integer Mode, I set the reference frequency to 300 MHz with the doubler turned on, and the PLL successfully locked (a 12 GHz output).

Given this, I am wondering if it is safe and practical to push the reference frequency up to 312.5 MHz under the same conditions (Integer Mode with the Reference Doubler on).

Thanks for your help!
