Hi
Can I use a vector modulator, something like AD8341, as an analog beamformer RX array phase shifter?
I'm talking about a narrow band (5-20 MHz) signal between the 1-2GHz, the signal level is very low, something like -100 dbm.
I'm trying to avoid using a digital beamformer for now, because of the ADC price.

Hello, yes the AD8341 can be used for phase shifting. Your application does use a very narrowband and low signal level though. You may need other RF blocks too

I inderstand the problem about the signal level, I need to get toward -10 dbm or even higher so I would be able to sample the signal with the adc.
My question is: can I apply a small amplitude signal to AD8341 (-100 dbm) and amplify it afterwards?
