Beat Frequency in HMC6350 System

Thread Summary

The user is experiencing a 40 kHz signal at the receiver end of the HMC6350 system when no signal is input at the transmitter. The final answer suggests providing a common reference clock to both the transmitter and receiver to determine if the issue is due to clock frequency deviation.

Hi, I am currently using the baseband transmission in the HMC6350 system.

When no signal is input at the HMC6300 transmitter end, the receiver end still receives a signal around 40 kHz (as shown in the figure). Is this signal caused by beat frequency resulting from a clock frequency deviation between the transmitter and receiver ends? Is there a solution for this?
