We are trying to configure the HMC778 with the FPGA , But we could not able to read the data from SDO line , I want to clarify that is there sequence that I need to follow while writing and reading of it .

Is it possible that you are referencing the wrong part number? HMC788 is an obsolete RF gain block with no digital control (HMC788 | Analog Devices)
Sorry sir , i am configuring a component with part number HMC778 not HMC788 .
This part is on last-time buy so you should not be considering it for use in anything new. The datasheet is very vague about the digital timing. Since the part is on last-time buy, it doesn't make sense for us to research this topic further.
