I am considering adopting either the ADF4382A or the ADF4382. While reviewing the datasheets to check for differences other than the frequency range, I noticed that there are different specifications regarding temperature.
ADF4382A (datasheet Rev.A)
Operating Junction Range: -40 to +125°C
Storage Range: -55 to +125°C
Maximum Junction: +125°C
ADF4382 (datasheet Rev.0)
Operating Junction Range: -40 to +125°C
Storage Range: -55 to +150°C
Maximum Junction: +150°C
Could you explain why there is a difference in the maximum values for the Storage Range and Maximum Junction?
I find it unusual that the maximum value for the Operating Junction Range and Storage Range for the ADF4382A are the same.
Therefore, I suspect that there may be an error in the ADF4382A datasheet.
When designing the ADF4382A, I am considering using the thermal conditions of the ADF4382. Is that acceptable?
