I am considering adopting either the ADF4382A or the ADF4382. While reviewing the datasheets to check for differences other than the frequency range, I noticed that there are different specifications regarding temperature.

  • ADF4382 was released  after ADF4382A. When ADF4382 was going through qualification, we re-evaluated the thermal performance. And we decided that max storage and junction temperatures of 150 degC were safe for ADF4382. This means that for ADF4382A 150degC is safe for max junction and max storage temperature.
