ADL6332 absolute RFIN

Thread Summary

The user asked about the absolute maximum RFIN when AMP1 is set to bypass mode. The final answer clarifies that while the P1dB is >10 dBm when AMP1 is bypassed, this exceeds the absolute maximum rating, which still applies to the input stage. The maximum P1dB is noted but not explicitly stated.

When AMP1 is set as bypass time, what is the absolute maximum RFIN of the AMP?

Thread Notes

Parents
  • Apologies for the delay in responding to you. This question was lost in the system for a few weeks. When you bypass AMP1 the P1dB is “>10 dBm” as you note from the spec table. However there is a foot note that says that this exceeds the absolute maximum rating. This means that the absolute maximum rating for input power comes from somewhere in the input stage and still applies when AMP1 is bypassed.
