Question
1. S-Parameters are based on what circuit? Figure 29? or Figure 35? or EVAL board configuration?
ADL5544
Recommended for New Designs

Question
1. S-Parameters are based on what circuit? Figure 29? or Figure 35? or EVAL board configuration?
The s-parameters were collected using the schematic in Figure 29 but were subsequentially de-embedded. So these are pin-to-pin s-parameters of the device only.
Thank you for your response enash . What values (for C1, C2 and L1) would you recommend for an application from 50MHz to 3GHz?
For an operating range of 50 MHz to 3 GHz, I would recommend the 100 MHz to 500 MHz components (C1=C2=100nF, L1=1000nH, C7=C8=Open/DNI). I believe that the performance will hold up well up to 3 GHz but I cannot find any data in our archives to support this. If you go with the default components (L1=100nH), you will still get ok gain but S11 and S22 will be degraded at low freq (see figures 30 and 31).
