Power sequence

Category: Datasheet/Specs
Product Number: ADRF5020

I have queries in the following power up sequence in the datasheet.

1. I am unable to use a 1.5k resistor on the Ctrl line as it will slow down my switching speed significantly. Before VDD is power up, can the ctrl be driven to low?  If not, is there any suggestion which we can adapt.

Power up sequence from datasheet

Apply the digital control inputs CTRL and EN. Applying digital control inputs before the VDD supply can inadvertently forward bias and damage the internal ESD protection structures. A series 1.5 kΩ resistor can be used to limit the current flowing into the control pin in this case. If the control pins are not driven to a valid logic state (for example, the controller output is in high impedance state) after VDD is powered up, it is recommended to use pull up/down resistors.
