Tuning time of ADMV8052

I am currently working on admv8052 tunable bandpass filter . I just want to know that whenever i will shift my frequency fc_load value and interpolation coefficients will also be changes . I am just curious to know that how much tuning time it will take to shift from one frequency to another frequency.

  • Hi Uroosa,

    1. If you are in interpolation mode, the interpolation coefficients you set won't change when you shift from one Fc to another. These will be fixed, but the FC_Load value will change depending on the Fc you choose.

    2. For Tuning time, Amplitude settling time would be <10us and for Phase Settling Time it would be <15us.

  • thankyou so much but as for interpolation coefficients if we use different bandwidth like (7%, 9% or 11%) so every fractional bandwidth has its own coefficients. Am wrong or right? secondly do we have to send coefficients of all bands or only one selected band....

    1. Yes, each Bandwidth setting has its own coefficients.

    2. Do you mean if the Bandwidth setting will affect all the Filter Bands? Once you write the Bandwidth coefficients, you can use it on all the Bands.

    You can freely change the coefficients before switching to the next desired Filter settings.
