May i ask what is the Failure rate (FIT) for HMC1040LP3CE and is it prone to hydrogen poisoning?

  • Hi Tryingtofindans,

Regarding hydrogen poisoning. The HMC1040 is a GaAs pHEMT device and if enclosed in a poorly ventilated or hermetically sealed enclosure would be at risk for hydrogen poisoning.

The above FIT is calculated with a die use junction temperature of 85 C. 60% & 90% confidence levels.

    regards,

    Jim B
